Finding a dive-site ID
FitDive normally works out your dive site automatically from the .fit file's GPS, or your phone's location as a backup. When neither is available, it falls back to a dive-site ID you set once in Settings. Here's how to find one.
You only need to do this once. Pick the site you dive most often — your local shop, quarry, or home reef — and FitDive will only fall back to it on the rare dive where GPS and location both come up empty.

Open ScubaGo's search
Go to scubago.com/en/search in a browser (phone or computer both work) - this link jumps straight to Dive Sites, skipping step 2 below.

Switch the category to Dive Sites
The search defaults to Courses. Open that dropdown and pick Dive Sites instead.

Find your dive site
Use the search box (magnifying glass, top right) or browse the list, and open the site you want.

Copy the number at the end of the URL
Once you're on the site's page, look at the address bar. The last part of the URL is <site-name>-<ID> — the trailing number is what FitDive needs.

Why ScubaGo, not MySSI directly? MySSI's own dive-site search is built into FitDive's automatic lookup already. ScubaGo happens to use the same underlying dive-site IDs and is easier to browse by hand when you already know which site you want.
